Activity log¶

The archive records what staff do, so changes can be traced after the fact.

Your activity¶

The Activity page in the admin area lists your own actions and when you took them, covering everything you created or edited as well as what you deleted.

Object audit trail¶

Every object also has an audit trail, the actions taken on that object by any user. For edits, the trail records field-level changes, meaning each changed field with its old and new value (for example, title: "Untilted" → "Untitled"). The audit trail appears in the Activity panel on the detail view.

Who can see it¶

Both views are read-only and available to any signed-in user (Researcher and above). See User roles.
