User¶

This page covers your account in the archive and the settings you control.

Signing in¶

Athena does not have its own passwords. You sign in through your organization's login provider, and the archive trusts the identity it issues. Your role (what you are allowed to do) comes from the group you belong to there. You cannot change your own role from inside the archive. The roles and what each can do are described in User roles. How sign-in works under the hood is covered in Authentication.

Settings¶

Each user has their own preferences, saved to their account and applied wherever they sign in. You manage them from the Settings page in the admin area.
